Delivery from Europe

Delivery from Europe to Ukraine is now very flexible, from sending small purchases from online stores to transporting commercial and oversized cargo. Since air traffic in Ukraine is currently closed, all logistics are based on road (vans, trucks) and rail transport.

Here are the main options, depending on your needs:

1. Shopping in European online stores (Shopping)

If you need to buy clothes, appliances or cosmetics on sites like Zara, Allegro, Amazon (DE), which do not ship directly to Ukraine, it is best to use mail forwarder services. They provide you with the address of their warehouse in Europe (for example, in Poland, Germany, Spain), where the store sends the order, and from there the service takes it to Ukraine.

  • Popular operators: NP Shopping (Nova Poshta), Meest Shopping, Ukraine Express.

  • Delivery times: usually 5 to 10 business days from the moment of arrival at a European warehouse.

  • Price: calculated by weight (for example, from 5–6 $ or euros per kilogram) or by volume.

2. Personal parcels and documents from relatives

If relatives or friends want to send you things, clothes or documents from abroad.

  • National postal services: sending via local mail of the host country (for example, Poczta Polska in Poland, DHL/Deutsche Post in Germany). In Ukraine, such parcels are usually accepted by Ukrposhta. It is relatively inexpensive, but may take a little longer (from 1.5 to 3 weeks).

  • Ukrainian operators abroad: Nova Post has actively opened its branches in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania and other countries. You can come there, as in a regular branch in Ukraine, and send the parcel directly.

  • Private carriers (buses): drivers who regularly travel on the Europe – Ukraine routes. Plus – they often carry “door to door” and take oversized items. Minus – fewer legal guarantees.

3. Commercial and consolidated cargo (LTL/FTL)

For business, delivery of equipment, auto parts or building materials.

  • Less-than-truckload (LTL): if your goods are small and do not occupy a whole truck. They are combined with other goods in the warehouse. This saves a lot of money.

  • Full truckload (FTL): renting a whole truck for your order. The fastest option for large shipments.

  • Delivery times: on average 4–9 days, depending on the queues at the border and the country of departure.

⚠️ Important about customs duties: Ukraine has a limit on the duty-free import of parcels for individuals. If the value of goods in one parcel exceeds 150 euros, you will have to pay VAT and customs duties on the excess amount. Commercial cargo is processed under separate customs declarations.
